that history problem again..

So yeah.. I did it again.

This time I managed to miss the first (successful!) space flight of a privately built spacecraft... SpaceShipOne.

It took place in Mojave CA which is not that far from here. I pass through it each time I head to Mammoth Mtn. So it was something I totally could have gone to...

However, I had just gotten home around 1am from our trip to the Modesto area to visit family.. so i would have either had to go directly there on my way home, or would have had to drive back up pretty much immediately... Oh well... I guess there is a bit of consolation in the fact that at least I wasn't just sitting at my desk while it happened this time.

In any case, cheers to them... where can i buy a ticket to ride?
